7.2 Update has been released Fri Mar 30, 2012 4:41 pm

World of Tanks development team is glad to announce that the update 7.2 is due to release for the main server on March 30.

Update: The maintenace process is over and the game is back online for you to enjoy.

Due to the maintenance, Global Map and Clan Wars will be unavailable from March 30th, 05:15 CEST (03:15 GMT) till March 31th, 05:15 CEST (03:15 GMT).

Please abstain from payments during the specified period of time.

All users having premium accounts on during the start of the maintenance are having their premiums compensated for a day since March 30th, 2012 from 7:00 CEST.

Main features of the update 7.2 are the following:

New maps Province and Live Oaks;
American tank destroyers with turning turrets line: M8A1, T49 , M18 (Hellcat), T25-2, and T28 prototype;
Changes in the American heavy tanks line;
22 new crew skills and perks;

Battlefield 3 PC Patched Fri Mar 30, 2012 10:58 am

The Battlefield Blog post about the Battlefield 3 patch has been edited to announce the PC edition of the patch is now available. The post offers highlights of the new version like the new commo rose and improved mini-map. Here's word: "Today, we rolled out the big Spring game update for Battlefield 3 on PC! The focus of this massive package is to make the game more stable, fairer, and more balanced. You can find a comprehensive change list this earlier post. The ~1.6GB update is available now."

Battlefield 3 Patch Plans

The Battlefield Blog has details on plans to patch Battlefield 3 on all three platforms, saying a PS3 patch will be deployed on Tuesday and that more information on patches for the PC and Xbox 360. The new version includes a lengthy list of gameplay balance tweaks, many of which are suggested by the community, along with "rent a server" functionality for the console version. The overwhelming change list includes word on general gameplay fixes, vehicle fixes, weapon tweaks, deathmatch tweaks, mini-map adjustments, an improved commo-rose for PC players, and more.

Battlefield 3 Patch in Certification Wed Mar 14, 2012 8:00 am

DICE's Daniel Matros tweets that the upcoming Battlefield 3 patch is now in certification for consoles, indicating the patch is probably coming soon to all three platforms. Thanks BF3Blog, where they say the last patch spent about a week in certification.
